Our boys England dropped out of the competition after a disgraceful performance against the mighty Germans, and Argentina pushed Mexico aside with ease as Germany and Argentina meet each over in the Quarter-Finals!
The final group stage games for Group A and B saw Mexico and Uruguay qualify courtesy of Luis Suarez’s goal in his adidas F50 Adizero football boots, and Argentina topped the group with a standard victory over Greece to send them through along with South Korea who saw out a 2-2 draw with Nigeria!
But enough of the doom and gloom of the World Cup so far, the battle between mine and Ben’s Nike and Adidas teams is underway, and what a start I have made!
