After our sneek preview a couple of weeks a go the latest running shoes from Asics hit our shelves last Monday. We take a look at the most recent encarnations from Asics…
Asics Gel Kayano 15 A/W Running Shoes 2009
Unsuprisinly nothing has changed (Asics launched the 15 earlier in the year with their S/S model), apart from a new colorway. So unless you like the new color its not worth spending the extra £15.00.
Asics Gel Nimbus 11 A/W Running Shoes 2009
The Nimbus has undergone some significant changes. The upper has changed considerably with the modification of the existing Asymmetrical Lacing which creates more room in the toe-box and the change to an open mesh fabric. Please see our recent blog post for more information.
Asics Gel 3010 Running Shoes 2009
The Asics Gel 3010 sees further improvements from its predecessor the Asics Gel 3000. However, the Asics Gel 3010 is not just an update of the Gel 3000, it is a breakthrough model for this category of running shoes. For further information please click here.

Asics Gel Cumulus 11 A/W Running Shoes 2009
The Asics Gel Cumulus 11 features a more decoupled heel environment for improved shock attenuation at heel strike. The new, lightweight Solyte midsole also provides a softer platform and drops weight. The tooling offers a broad base of support and makes the shoe a good product solution for mild over-pronators that prefer a cushioned ride. For further information please click here.
Asics Gel Evolution 5 A/W Running Shoes 2009
The Asics Evolution 5 reprises the tooling of the previous model, which broke new ground in its ability to provide Maximum Support while allowing the foot to move in a more natural manner. The rearfoot includes an innovative outsole ‘wrap’ on the medial side for added stability. The newly designed upper features a longer vamp for a more ample toe box, along with a medial bunion window.
