What we say: Improving on the already great Asics Kayano 14 the Asics Kayano 15 sets a new benchmark for support running shoes. The weight has been reduced yet the cushioning improved. This is one of the top structured cushioning shoe available and a firm favourite amongst serious runners. The ideal shoe for the high mileage runner seeking a blend of cushioning and support.

Mizuno Wave Inspire 5 – RRP £85. Ransacker Price: £67.99

What we say: The Mizuno Wave Inspire 5 is ideal for longer distance runners and is very durable. The gender-specific features are very effective and noticable during running. It is both light and supportive. It is not as comfortable as the Kayano 15 but is more flexible and responsive.
