Runners World Autumn Shoe Buyers Guide

July 30th, 2008 by Ransacker | Comment

The big winners in this month Runners World Autumn Shoe Buyers Guide are the Asics Gel Cumulus 10 – voted the Editors Choice and the New Balance 757 – voted the Best Update.

Asics Gel Cumulus 10

We agree with Runners World that the Cumulus 10 is a very different shoe to the Cumulus 9. It used to provide a soft, neutral ride, however it is now more stable and would suit mild over pronators rather than neutral runners. So on this basis and the fact that the soft EVA on the outsole seems to wear down quickly we struggle to see why it has been voted their Editors Choice rather than the Asics Gel Nimbus 10.

Do you agree or disagree? What do you think about the Cumulus 10?

The Cumulus 10 retails from £64.99 to find out more click here.

New Balance 757

We have yet to get our hands / feet on the 757, however we have heard good things and the Runners World Award for Best Update confirms this. Hopefully we should have a review for you soon.

The New Balance 757 costs from £58.50, to find out more click here.
