BOOT WARS RESULT: Brede Hangeland v Stephen Hunt

October 20th, 2009 by James Evans | Comment

If Hull City fans weren’t worried before, they should be now. The Tigers actually won at Craven Cottage last season, but any hopes of a repeat performance on Monday night were roundly distinguished by a confident and comfortable Fulham side who are now moving forward after a slow start to the campaign.

Brede HangelandOf course, much of the hosts’ poise, power and promise came, as expected, from the boot of Brede Hangeland in his Umbro Speciali Statement football boots. Faced with the threat of Stephen Hunt, who was plying his trade in a pair of Puma King XL football boots, the towering Norwegian was rarely troubled, using the cleat’s strong tackling ability and excellent grip to comfortably negate the threat of the Hull man’s attacking forays.

It got so bad for Irishman Hunt that he was hauled off midway through the second period.

That’s a pretty conclusive win for the Umbro Speciali Statement football boots.
