What a result for Fulham & Nike!

March 18th, 2010 by Ben Hardinge | 1 Comment

Who could have predicted it?! Fulham who have not scored 4 goals all season come back to beat Juventus; 4-1! American midfielder Clint Dempsey, who returned from a long-term knee injury last week, scored on a gorgeous chip from 19 yards and to top it all off he was debuting the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly II!  The Nike PR boys will be waking up with a smile on their faces tomorrow morning.

Just a few weeks ago we interviewed Dempsey about his latest cleats but we did not expect for one second that we would be the first player to be seen in them! Surely Ronaldo had called shotgun on that one. However, it’s questionable weather Ronaldo could have scored a better goal!
