Each week Ransacker carefully dissects each and every Premier League goal to bring you our goal of the week boot. This is the boot that was used to score the very best goal in the Premier League. There were 25 Premier League goals in all this weekend but just who produced the winning strike?

The winner of this week’s goal of the week was Chelsea’s Juan Mata for his superb strike in Chelsea’s 3-0 win against Wolves at Stamford Bridge. Mata latched onto Ashley Cole’s dinked cross into the box and produced a superb half-volley that flew into the roof of the net to give Chelsea a 3-0 lead.

Mata produced the impressive strike while wearing a pair of Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly III – Volt/Purple/Retro boots. The Superfly III are an elite speed boot from Nike and feature an asymmetric pattern and a fluorescent visual acuity graphic on the heel and instep that is designed to make the boots stand out to teammates on the pitch.
The boots also feature a soft and supple teijjin synthetic leather upper with incorporated Flywire technology which Nike say provides ‘ultra light-weight support and comfort for your foot.’ The super-light weight of the boot is also aided by a carbon-fibre chassis, which strips weight to the absolute minimum, while maximising strength.
As always, Ransacker is on hand to bring you the very latest deals on the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly III – Volt/Purple/Retro. For the very latest prices please click here.
