In life, just as in Friday nights on the telly watching Derren Brown, somethings aren’t quite as they seem, so and it was with a strong element of surprise that Torquay recovered from two goals down on Sunday afternoon to record an impressive 2-2 Meadow Lane scoreline and thus stunt Notts County’s onward momentum towards the top of League Two.
