Pictures of adidas’ much anticipated new F50 Adizero football boots have been leaked on to the internet. For obvious legal reasons we can’t display them on our website until the launch date however we hope to have a full review ready and waiting when they hit the shelves.
The F50 Adizero will be Adidas’ lightest and fastest boots yet, weighing only 160g, and using technology from the original Adidas F50 range and the Adidas F50 TUNiT’s, the boots are bound to attract a lot of attention.
David Villa was spotted testing out a blacked-out prototype in training as early as last Summer, and so expect to see some other top stars known for wearing F50′s to be spotted soon. In fact if you see anyone let us know!
These include Ashley Young, Emmanuel Adebayor, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Jermain Defoe, so keep your eyes out for them! The boots are rumoured to be released around May 2010, although no official release has been announced by Adidas. This is likely to cause some big competition and rivalry with Nike’s release at a similar time, the Nike Superfly 2.
So if your looking for some speedy boots, keep your eyes open for the Adidas F50 Adizero and the Nike Superfly 2 later this year.
