New Reebok Valde on show in the Middle East

May 19th, 2009 by James Evans | Comment

It’s true to say that in the UK at least, the Reebok Valde boot hasn’t really been hitting the heights of others.. well, Andriy Shevchenko wore it, so that speaks volumes doesn’t it?!

But abroad the boot has a lot more worth, and the manufacturer is certainly aiming to make its mark in the Italian and German markets whilst keeping us Brits informed and in tune with the latest technologies.

Whilst the Valde has been around and showcased already in the Premier League, its official launch across the Middle East completes the global brand of the boot which is therefore expected to make much more of a mark on the game in the coming year.

It has the backing of star man Iker Casillas, but despite it’s excellent distribution and powerful foot-to-ball impact, this is much more than just a goalkeeper’s boot, with exact weighting across sole for playmaking versatility and the protection of toe and ball for defenders.

With a remaining emphasis on power, it’s undoubtedly a striker’s boot too, so as long as you’re not stuck on the bench, in effect it doesn’t matter where you play when you’re wearing the Reebok Valde!

“The Valde has been designed to up the pace and power of the modern game,” said Richard Wright, Reebok head of global football. “Developed in conjunction with Reebok’s stable of world class players this is the most powerful boot we’ve ever made so we’re urging players to play responsibly when wearing them!”

The Valde is available in both removable stud and molded stud versions in black, attack red, athletic yellow and white, black and cycle blue.
