Octathalon Training - It hurts, lots!

I knew training for the Octathalon would be hard and so far it has lived up to expectations. This week I have undergone the Cardio Blast 1 twice. As the title suggests this basic program focuses on building up your cardio vascular base by completing the same circuit of exercises three times but with increasing intensity.
Initially it feels relatively easy but when you are faced with the last circuit your legs start to feel really heavy and your head dizzy. Not suprising considering my heart rate was in the low 180’s!
